Aero Medical Examination
Dr. Rainer Mutschler is registered as an AME and in addition to his biological - naturopathy medical services he issues all established and required aviation medical certifications in accordance with JAR-FCL for student and privat pilots and FAA for student and trained commercial and private pilots. As an aviation medical examiner he goes with the patient through a special basic list of medical rules established by state authorities and examines if necessary all organic and sensory functions due to requirements for flying.
What do you need for the examination:
- Pilots bring their flight licence, their last medical certificate and their identification card.
- JAR-FCL pilots only need to bring their ID and before the examination they should have made an appointment with the eye specialist. In order to do it, we will give you a registration form and you will have to see an eye specialist in Speyer, who is listed in the LBA (German Federal Agency of Aviation). - For the examination please choose loose-fitting comfortable clothing (especially for candidates who need an ECG examination).
By applying for U.S. medical licence
- Pilots applying for a U.S. medical license by the FAA are asked to first make a preliminary date of the examintaion in CFI Speyer.
- In the next step please enter your data on the website of the Federal Aviation Administration in order to get a confirmation of the examination.
- Please follow this confirmation to us via E-Mail.
- Please note: this confirmation e-mail schould reach us 3 days before the examination day. Only then the examination date will be binding.
