Centre for Integrative Medicine

The „Centrum für Integrative Medizin“ (the Centre for Integrative Medicine, also referred to as CFI) combines the findings of Research Medicine with the experiences of modern naturopathy and devotes itself to all physiological and psychological disease patterns.

Our concept of an Integrative Medicine is based on the following pillars:

Biological foundation

The biology-based approach is of particular importance in Integrative Medicine. Not the superficial symptoms (signs of disease) are in the centre of diagnosis and treatment but their causes within the complex interaction of body, soul and mind.

Interdisciplinary networking

We practise this medical concept by applying interdisciplinary team-working across different disciplines under one roof. Together and through intensive interaction with the patient, biological medical specialists and dentists, psychotherapists and physiotherapists work on the development of an individual – always holistic - diagnosis and treatment.

Holistic diagnosis and treatment

We use the latest diagnostic technologies to recognise the causes of your disease but we hardly go back to expensive, chemically-produced drugs which often merely suppress symptoms and frequently cause undesired side-effects. Following our holistic concept we use nothing but the resources of your own body, the biological healing effect of natural substances and the impacts of changes in your lifestyle. Through regulating processes our Integrative Medicine wants to stimulate your body to heal itself or start preventive processes.

Focus on patients

In the context of Integrative Medicine, a patient-centred diagnosis is also of significance. We meet our patients as equals and assume that people with a long medical history react very sensitively to their bodies’ signals and that you, as a patient, bring along profound own knowledge of your disease. Accordingly, we arrange for an in-depth anamnesis and a detailed patient interview.
A further aspect of Integrative Medicine is to integrate the patient in our field of excellence, to motivate him for treatment and activate him for this end.
